Banking Jobs: Right Time to Start Your Preparation


 

Students aspiring to get government jobs should start preparing themselves for upcoming jobs in the banking sector. As many as 41177 positions at Public sector banks are vacant as per the recent statement by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. There are more than 805986 sanctioned positions at Public Sector Banks. SBI has the maximum number of vacant posts of 8544, according to official data. The number for Punjab National Bank is 6743. The Central Bank of India has 6295 vacant positions, followed by Indian Overseas Bank at 5112 and Bank of India at 4848.  The posts are spread across three categories: officer, clerk, and sub-staff. There is a huge shortage of staff in the PSUs due to which they are unable to perform their duties properly.

Banks have vacancies, and they are surely going to recruit in phases. It is a golden time for candidates to realise their dream of securing one of the most coveted job positions in India. Banks offer a promising career. As banks have diversified their operations, one can opt for the job of one's interest. Jobs in banks are rewarding and lucrative.
